Another Long Exposure, controlling the light entering the lens with a lens cap.


This image took approximately 4 minutes to shoot. Many would question the need to take such a long time to expose a 400asa film ... but they get blurry shots ;-) Obviously, when you are taking such a long exposure image you will need to block out the lights caused by traffic. I use a lens cap every time that I hear a car approaching. In this image I thought that all I wanted was one light trail going from right to left, drawing the viewer into the image. Sadly the driver had a different plan and promptly performed a perfect 3 point turn and disappeared in the same direction that he entered the image.
