An over-exposed night time photograph can provide an interest lighting perspective for your shots.


At night the light source is lower and more individual than pure sunlight. There is obviously still moonlight, but its effect is more of a backlight for your images. This image was taken using Ilford 400asa Black & White film and I think that I exposed it for 4 minutes at F11, being careful to use my lens cap to block out any lights from cars etc.
